First Interview at Amazon
Brad had his first interview with Amazon while he was still in business school. But, he almost missed it. It took him some time before he found the invitation in his spam folder.

Amazon conducted two different interviews. The interviewers based their questions on leadership principles.
Two Sides for Different Purposes
Brad discusses the two sides of Amazon, the retail side and the 3P. The retail side is where they approach big companies to sell products. The other side is where third-party sellers belong.

Only several hundred individuals worked at Amazon back then. Brad used to work in the marketplace with third-party sellers. FBA was a completely different department.
Working with Amazon
Amazon provided Brad with a place to apply his expertise. They also wanted to come up with new things. Overall, they were open to new ideas and possibilities.

One thing to understand about the company is that they are a business leads. Brad would have a business case and develop it around the thing he is building and its reason.
