EPISODE OVERVIEW
Today, Kevin Rizer welcomes Chris Rawlings to the show. Chris was originally on episode 40. Since then, Chris has seen a huge increase in his business. Today, Chris talks about his ventures in foreign markets in Episode 112 Crossing the Pond & Selling on Amazon's European Markets with Chris Rawlings.
Chris' Growth
Chris has added a full-time VA, a part-time customer service manager, added new channels in foreign markets like Amazon in the UK and soon to be in Japan.
Mindset Training
Chris was resistant to the thought of mindset training when he began. Now, he considers it one of the most fundamental things he can do to upgrade your business and life success. Even if there's a risk that he might lose money, it's a risk he's willing to take if it has the potential to change his mindset.
It was hard for Chris Rawlings at first. As an entrepreneur, you are emotionally attached to a business and very protective. To scale his business, there was a lot of on the job training. There were failures and successes. Ebay was a huge failure with dismal numbers but Amazon worked for Chris.
Competition in His Niche Market
For Chris's Breadwinner product, his competition exploded. The average price tanked to just under 60% of what the price was previously. It was tough and hurt his sales. It forced Chris to come up with some really creative solutions.
