Start in Online Marketing

Brian determined to learn online marketing. Back when he started in the early 2000s, some of the strategies available were only through local and national directories. But, SEO was new that time.

Since it was just starting, you can be on the first page of search engines simply by creating a Craigslist ad. With 2 weeks and a month, Brian dominated the first and second pages. From producing a thousand items per month, he went to producing a thousand per week.

Opportunity at Amazon

Brian’s business still exists to this day, and has even expanded globally. Because of that, many wanted to learn from him. He started teaching high-end individuals about pay per lead.

One of his students told him about Amazon. With that opportunity, he hopped on a call with his student’s Amazon coach. In just 1 month, his student earned more than $30,000 in Amazon.

Learning from Mistakes

Brian never saw it happened before. So, he traded with his student to teach him Amazon and he in turn will teach him pay per lead.

During that time, selfie sticks were trending. Brian sourced and placed them over Amazon. He went through the whole training, and assumed he will be rich in a month as well.

To his dismay, he only sold 18 selfie sticks in that month. He considered where he may have gone wrong. That’s when he decided to improve his strategies.
