Business at Amazon

Will has been consulting and running his own Amazon account with his business partner. But since their clients kept on increasing, they decided to put up an office and hired employees to work for them.

“One of the biggest changes, is how aggressive Amazon has gotten trying to source everything themselves.” -Will Tjernlund

He finds it nice to have people to fall back on and be there in a specific place. To manage them properly, he holds different layers of responsibility.

Working on Two Separate Brands

Apart from his own business, Will still works alongside his brother. Clients typically approach the two of them for help.

The two of them have a private label account. But their attention is no longer entirely devoted to it nowadays. Often, the important thing to do for them is to look for ways to get cash faster.

Amazon State of the Union

Will is not the kind of person who sells fear. People would ask him whether it’s already too late to enter Amazon. According to him, this is the time when the Amazon is getting up the limit.

Sellers are becoming smarter and better. Amazon itself is private labeling more products, buying brands, and are exceeding expectations.
